Sunday Stills : Barns

The Sunday Stills Challenge this week was barns, but Ed said " Go beyond the typical barn shot."
Luckily I have good neighbors with a very old barn. I wish I knew when it was built, I should have asked. I know it is way older than me, because it is part of my childhood memories. It is the only haymow in these parts that has real steps instead of a ladder. As I stood there and looked at the roof from the inside, I could almost hear the barn builders working..heaving up the boards.. nailing.. talking.. telling stories.. :)

  11. Very very cool!! My best Sunday Stills photo so far! Clever view. Not everyone would think to look UP for a photo.

The ceiling reminds me of the ribs of a whale!
