Sunday Stills: Texture
The Sunday Stills Challenge this week was texture. 
How about a Bull Thistle? They are terribly prickly. I hate them.

Great thistle shot and the lichens are realy cool looking! Definitely a lot of texture in that shot!

It always amazes me that donkeys and horses will eat thistle. I get a laugh out of watching how delicately my horse will nip a little piece of thistle off to chew.

Hi there..we have thistle here too. These are a perfect for texture..and that second one is cool-
That Bull thistle looks pretty mean! But the bloom is beautiful. The lichen is interesting. We just collected a variety of mosses and lichens to put on our photo blog (there goes that great minds thing again!)
