Macro Monday: Monarch Caterpillar

Monarch Caterpillar on Asclepias incarnata 'Ice Ballet' more commonly known as milkweed. The only food for the Monarch Butterfly larvae. Check out more macros at SS Macro Monday:)

  10. That is a lovely healthy looking caterpillar, they look much further on there than they are here, ours are still tiny.

  13. dibear, the ones on your parsley are black swallowtails, not monarchs. they do have similar coloring.
