Macro Monday: Oak Catkins


Well the Oak Trees are finally doing something, it takes them forever to put on their leaves.  We have Burr Oaks here..these are their catkins and their leaves just emerging.  Check out more macros here.:)

    That makes an interesting photo Connie. Our birch trees here are some of the latest to get their leaves.

    I like that development. I have never lived near any oak trees of any variety, so it is all new to me. It does make an interesting shot.
