Macro Monday:Bellflower

This is a Creeping Bellflower or Campanula rapunculoides that showed up here at the edge of the woods a few years ago.  It is a non native Minnesota plant..but it is very pretty. These perennial plants are about three feet tall and the blooms are found only on one side of the stalk.  More macros can be found here:)

  2. Tis a great shot. I like that other bell like flower that grows among the rocks up there. I don't remember it's name but it is always holding it's own in the cracks of the rocks along the north shore.
