Sunday Stills: Metal

This weeks challenge was metal..and Ed suggested we come up with something that no one else would think of.  HA!  How about Razor Wire it is made of steel !

There are a few cars in the background..oh wait most cars are pretty much plastic any more…How about those fence posts!

Wildflowers and Razor wire

How about some little False Sunflowers to perk up the razor wire a tad?  Now I suppose you are thinking where in the world did I find razor wire?  In Minnesota of course.  The Bunker Hill Vietnam Memorial has added razor wire to their hillside.  Yesterday was the changing of the flags..my husband and I try to attend every year..we are reminded that freedom is not free.  More about this Vietnam Memorial can be found on my main blog.

I wonder how many other razor wire entries there will be in the Sunday Stills Challenge? :)

  1. Great shots Connie - very unique! A good reminder of those who fought for our freedom too.

  2. No one else will have such a pic. I've never seen that before, so the close up really shows you why it's named as such. Hope no deer get caught up in it. Was the bunker still there?
