This weeks challenge was the letter W. I chose the old water tower in town.
It is not used anymore..I wonder when they will tear it down.
If you look closely you can still see the word PARK on this side..RAPIDS is around the bend. It has been in town as long as I can remember.
Sometimes in the sunset colors of a spring evening..like in April of 2009..the light makes it look pink.
Interesting! I thought so too..it just goes to show you how light can show you something different from time to time:)

ReplyDeleteGood shots of the water tower. They put a new one up in our town. It took about 2 yrs for them to take the old one down.
ReplyDeleteWe have an old water tower in a near by town that was turned into a huge gas tank...........I'm always leary of them now;)

ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever seen a tower that looked like this before now. It looks like it is made of concrete.
