Round Robin Photo Challenge : Growing
Oh my!! What is growing..well some Tomato's..Roma Tomato's to be exact. Far Guy planted them and has been growing them out in his old greenhouse. He grows darn nice tomato plants. It is still too cool to plant them out yet, in one more week after the full moon we should be safe from frost..maybe. They really like the warmth in there! Check out the other Robins and see what they are growing. Thanks Whammy for this growing idea! :)
Those plants look pretty good to me. All my seeds/plants died because one day when it was rather warm I forgot to lift the lid on the cold frame. But our garden plot where we had vegetable last year...this year it is full of flowers...surprised us with nine beautiful tomato plants. Yea NAture.
ReplyDeleteOh there's nothing like fresh tomatoes to eat. I'm sure the flavor is so much better than the grocery ones :0)
ReplyDeleteIt's been too cold to plant my tomatoes yet :(
ReplyDeleteI played too ... with a non-growing pic :)

Hi Connie :)
ReplyDeleteDelicious! I am beginning to get hungry, and tomatoes would just hit the spot. :) Happy gardening!

Such cute little tomato plants. Good luck, you'll have big fat jucy red tomatoes before you know it :-)
ReplyDeleteThey look great - pretty darn big in only 7 days time. We have run out of time to start our first garden this year, but decided not a bad thing. We're going to plot our land, and fortify the soil starting now, so next spring it will be sooo ready. :) For now, some peppers and tomatoes in pots will have to do. Just too much this spring, what with fence repairs and house painting and just EVERYTHING. :-0
ReplyDeleteOh, and by the way, I really like your new header.
Great photos that fit the RR theme so perfectly. Love them all, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the tomato plants, showing the way they have grown! I have a couple of tomato plants out for the first time in years, one in one of those upside-down Topsy Turvy hangers and it will be interesting to see how that goes. The other is in a regular planter. The weather is warm so it's good for growing veggies!
ReplyDeleteI need to plant some tomatoes, I think the weather is okay now. Perfect photos for the challenge.
ReplyDeletehoping soon you can put them in the ground, Connie. weird to think other parts of the country are still having cool weather when it is 80 plus in So. Calif.
ReplyDeletegreat pictures :)

Perfect for the challenge. I constantly am amazed at how quickly plants can grow. It is amazing to watch them over time.
