Sunday Stills:Cats

The challenge this week was Cats.  Cats are more difficult than dogs.  Dogs will sit and stay and cats just do their own thing.  I photographed the neighbors cat.

Her name is Sophie.  She is the cat that welcomes you to the farm yard.  She runs up and meows a few times and hisses at Chance and then she sits someplace and watches his every movement!

The new camera is a bit frustrating at times.  I am practicing every day.  Have a good week everyone:)

Sunday Stills: Something Bizarre

The Sunday Stills Challenge this week was something bizarre.

Here is my best shot with the new camera.

It is my Dragon Fly thing-a–ma-bobber garden art..made from silverware.  It balances perfectly on that spoon.  It confuses the little Chickadees when they land on it and it moves.

Here is my best shot with the old camera..which I still love.

Sunday Stills: Summertime

The challenge this week was summertime.

I purchased a new camera this week.  It is a Canon Rebel T4i.  I would appreciate hearing from anyone that has this same camera.  My daughter bought hers a few weeks ago..and I was impressed with her photos.

So today was Day One with the new camera.  Here is summer!

Missy August 12

The whole neighborhood went to the ballpark tonight.  They play with soft balls because the little kids play too.  This is Missy getting ready to pitch.

I am not so sure about the newfangled camera. Different lenses and lens caps and ISO and aperture.. I will have to practice a long time.

Have a good week everyone:)

Sunday Stills: Sports

Well there isn’t much happening here in the boonies..so sometimes we have to come up with our own Olympic Style Events!

The Sunday Stills Challenge this week was sports in honor of the Olympics.

Of course Chance wanted to be involved in a event..Which ball will the Border Collie play with next??

Play some ball

Then there is the wildly popular which goat can reach higher event!

Goat Olympics

Hey in my opinion watching Tennis as an Olympic event is about as boring as watching paint dry!

I am adding a not so great photo this week..kids and goats making their own games.

The poor goat looks headless..but you can see how happy the girls are!  I should have taken more time getting the perfect shot..but the goat was so fast and the girls were running all over.  Have a great week everyone:)
