Sunday Stills: Something Bizarre

The Sunday Stills Challenge this week was something bizarre.

Here is my best shot with the new camera.

IMG_0210

It is my Dragon Fly thing-a–ma-bobber garden art..made from silverware.  It balances perfectly on that spoon.  It confuses the little Chickadees when they land on it and it moves.

Here is my best shot with the old camera..which I still love.

Weird Echinacea (2)

Echinacea purpurea ..half and half.

Have a good week everyone:)

  6. It looks like you have a good handle on the new camera. New or old they both are bizarre.

  7. That Echinacea really grows like that? Half purple and half green? I have never seen one like it. Does your yard art stay balanced in high winds, too?

  8. Bizarre that the dragonfly art is made from silverware- it looks really neat. The flower is definitely bizarre!

  9. Love your balanced dragonfly, very unique! The echinacea is bizarre. Hey if it's consistently two-toned, you could start a new variety and give it the common name Bizarre ;) I've tried several varieties, and they all end up the same ol' standard pinkish/purple. Good entries!

  11. Great photos! I so understand the 'old camera' love. I cried when I lost my favorite in the muddy ditch. I wasn't able to use it afterward, so I had to move on. I still have the camera, I can't seem to throw it away. Maybe next spring.....
