Sunday Stills : Moods and Emotions

This was a really hard Sunday Stills challenge for me, I have such a warped sense of humor.    I may have a photo that may make you smile..It is our neighbors dog.. Tackle Box..yeah I know a weird name for a dog, but they own a fishing resort!

Tackle relaxing..I took this July 24, 2009.

This is how he sleeps..we were visiting and all of a sudden he plopped over and started sawing ZZZZ's.:)

Sunday Stills: Two Favorites from 2009

For the Sunday Stills Challenge this week we were to pick two of our favorite photos from the challenges in 2009.and tell why they were our favorites.  This first photo was from The Landscape/Fall Foliage Challenge.  I think it is probably the best photo I took all year..the light was just right..the Tamrack were just glowing in the sunset.  It is also one of my favorite roads in our area..it leads to the farm with all the horses in the fields!

My second favorite photo was of Chance and our Grand-dog Miney.  It shows how opposite they are, he loves to pose and she thinks it is a real pain in the butt.   I took this photo for the Fences Challenge back in August.  I also like this photo because of the flowers which grow wild, they are Gaillardia or Blanket Flowers, and for the lichen covered fence and because it was warmer!  I believe that these photographs show my style and my favorite subject matter:)

Macro Monday: Snow and Ice

Check out more macros at Sunday Stills. Today I ventured out in the below zero weather for a little while.  I had to venture over a huge snowbank to get this photo, Chance thought it was great. :)

Sunday Stills: Food

The Sunday Stills Challenge this week was food.  I went to my archives for this one..nothing I cooked looked  good enough to photograph.  So these will have to do!

Ah the berries of summer.

Picked and packaged, later they were frozen on cookie sheets and then packaged into individual servings to enjoy all winter:)
