The challenge this week was red and green together in the same photo.
These are leaves from a Northern Pin Oak. They turn red slowly..lucky for me..the red veins must signal the rest of the leaf to turn color. We are past peak for viewing leaves here in our yard. The Northern Pin Oaks are slow. The Burr Oaks have turned brown and fallen off.
On the left is a Northern Red Oak Leaf, on the right a Northern Pin Oak Leaf. They are in the same family and are just like sisters..both a little different..unique in their own way. Have a good week everyone:)
lovely photos, nice compositions

Excellent pics, lots of our trees have already lost their foliage as well....it is coming.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great leave to follow as it changes it's colors. Fall is too soon arriving for me.
ReplyDeleteLeaves are the most common photo for this challenge- and I love yours.
