Sunday Stills
One day I sat in the boat and got a great view of the beautiful colors on the lake at twilight.
WELL...I have lots of projects going on all the time.
This small purse is what has been in my work bag.
I really enjoy doing Mosaic Crochet....using colors to make the designs pop.
This is a design that begins with a seven inch zipper...you chain stitch on the edges of the zipper and then pick up the stitches...fun!
I love to take photos of flowers!
I decided to show off my Virgin's Bower (Clematis virginiana ) that is in full bloom.
It is beautiful and quite smelly.
This will give you some idea how massive it is. I have wire fence (The kind that is small squares rabbit fence maybe) behind it so it finds its way up the side of the grain bin in our yard. It has been so dry I have been watering it well once a week.
It will also grow in drifts across the ground if it doesn't find its way upwards.
This plant has some history...I was gifted two maybe three small cuttings that I rooted and planted.. My friend Faye gave them to me from Annie's house in nearby Osage. Faye was not sure where Annie got the original seedlings...rumor had it that they came on a wagon in the late 1880's.
I knew Annie years ago...her property was surrounded by Lilac Bushes...the school bus I rode went by her place every morning and night.
Ack the lighting is all wrong...and we have a sun spot but there is a flag! This is my she could have done better for Sunday Stills.
Happy 4th of July!
