Color Carnival: A Flag

I really need to work on this theme, I have such a hard time finding colorful things to photograph..this week I chose the flag just outside my front door. I just need to find my comfort zone.. and I have not found it yet. Maybe I am looking too hard.. I don't know..suggestions? I love to photograph things of just one color.. but that is not the challenge is it..Color Carnival should just inspire color, many colors:)

Color Carnival : New Fangled Flowers

Martha over at Menagerie has started a new photo meme, called Color Carnival. Anyone is welcome to join right in! I have been on the hunt for a few days now for a current colorful photo. I found these new fangled flowers in the mall. NO, I was not shopping, but killing some time while Far Guy was in the Hobby Shop. Maybe I should get out more, silk flowers with lights.. what will they come up with next? :)
