Carly at Ellipsis asked for a close up of something..perhaps something you never thought about photographing before. This fish net covers about one third of our grain bin..it is there for vines to crawl up. We spent the better part of a day fishing it out of the sand in a private Gulf of Mexico Beach about ten years ago. The net has some coral attached to it. I had never thought about photographing it before.
Question of the week: What kind of camera do you use most often? I use a Point and Shoot:)
WOW... Macro at its finest! This is a wonderful piece of art you have shared. Happy Spring from my garden in the Midwest.
ReplyDeleteI love coral and think this shot is so cool!!!
ReplyDeleteI use a Canon XT. It's the only camera I have and I do love it!
Very cool shot, especially enlarged! I love the provenance of the net too. You must have worked hard to get the whole thing out.
ReplyDeleteGreat macro. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThis one made me say WOW outloud. Incrediable shot.
ReplyDeleteThat is an AMAZING picture! Wow. Is that the new camra or the old HP? (Just curious)
ReplyDeleteIt's really neat!
Very nice shot, I use a Nikon D80 and a variety of Sigma lenses, a 105mm Macro, a 28-200 for medium range and my big boy a 170-500mm for the birds and moon.
ReplyDeleteHava great week..Ed
I think this is a stunning picture. I love the net with the coral attached to it, up close where all of the features of both can be seen so perfectly. Great, great job!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! That's certainly something you don't see everyday. Good job!
ReplyDeleteThis was day five with the new camera..:)
ReplyDeleteLove this shot of the fish net. We have a lot of fish nets up here. I'll have to think about getting some shots.
