The Sunday Stills Challenge this week was to photograph things that start with the letter “S”
Sandhill Cranes in the neighbors field.
Signs
Have a good week everyone! :)
Love the cranes. There is a reserve here in Tennessee where the Sandhills like to winter over. :)
Very nice, the Sandhills are heading our way to Tennessee. We have the Sandhill Crane breeding grounds just south of where we live..:-))
good job! We don't get the Sandhills around here, we only have the Great Blue herons
I've yet to see a Sandhill Crane on the ground....I hear them flying (mostly at night) but did manage to take some flying pic's. Good job.
Sandhills move through Nebraska and rarely are seen here. They must follow the Mississippi down east of us to the southern winter grounds. I am busy looking up a waterfall picture from Maine. It is buried deep in some file.
Good job. I love your header shot, wish I was riding my horse along there.
the cranes look like big birds, are they?nice photos
I love your comments! I am glad you stopped by! Connie
