Sunday Stills: Wildflowers and Flowers

The challenge this week was Wildflowers and Flowers.  Fine.  Nothing is blooming.  We still have snow in the woods.  The lakes are frozen.  It is freaking cold..The high Saturday was 42 degrees.

I found some pussy willows ( Salix discolor). IMG_2567

I had better luck at the grocery store.

One look at the pollen and my husband started to sneeze…we worked too many years in the greenhouses.  We don’t allow any flowers in the house.

Happy Easter everyone..it is supposed to be 60 degrees above zero for us..we will see..I am not holding my breath:(

  12. Our former neighbor had planted so many wonderful shrubs including pussy willows. In the last few years the new neighbor has created a lovely grass yard and remove almost all of the shrubs. The very large pussy willow was the last to go. We didn't buy lilies this year for the first time in years.
