The Sunday Stills Challenge this week was First Signs of Fall. The very first sign of Fall happens right in my yard.
The Virginia Creeper that grows wild in the woods turns red. It grows up many of the Oaks in the yard. I took this photo September 10, 2011.
I took this photo last night, my daughter, my son in law and my two grandsons were walking along the back driveway. Fall is here. I don’t mind Fall..but winter can stay away for a long time yet! I will have more free time now, I will finish up my summer job this week. So I hope to be able to participate in more of the photo challenges again:)
I was thinking of planting some Virginia creeper just for that lovely red color.
ReplyDeleteLove your header shot.
Beautiful red! I too hope winter stays away as long as possible...
ReplyDeleteThe photo of your daughter's family is perfect. I predict it will become a favorite of theirs.
ReplyDeleteNever, say the "W" word in September!
I love a stroll down a country lane in the Fall. Nice shots. :)
