The Sunday Stills Challenge this week was Animals of Husbandry. Photographing baby pigs was a new experience for me. The heat lamp cast a golden glow that was really picked up by the lighter colored pigs. I had to use a flash because it was dark in the hog barn.
These cute little guys are ten days old. 
These guys are a little older, I believe they were about eight weeks old...pigs grow really fast! After being in the hog barn for a while my lens fogged up and I got some obnoxious spots in my photos, I was able to crop out most of them. However there are still some in the upper left hand corner of this photo. I had been outside for quite a long time with my camera, and it was only about 20 degrees outside.
More rainbow pigs! Can anyone say BACON! Or Hog Roast! Thanks to our neighbors for allowing me into their farrowing barn! :)
