"You have noticed that everything an Indian does is in a circle, and that is because the Power of the World always works in circles, and everything tries to be round..... The Sky is round, and I have heard that the earth is round like a ball, and so are all the stars. The wind, in its greatest power, whirls. Birds make their nest in circles, for theirs is the same religion as ours.... Even the seasons form a great circle in their changing, and always come back again to where they were. The life of a man is a circle from childhood to childhood, and so it is in everything where power moves." Black Elk
This weeks Challenge was Architecture, uffda..we live in the "boonies" we aren't real artsy fartsy out here. Even in town..nothing spoke to me. Then I drove in our yard one afternoon and admired the top of the grain bin. It will do! Check out Sunday Stills for more great captures:)
You don't need artsy fartsy to have beautiful architecture.
ReplyDeleteThat will work. Very cool photo!!
ReplyDeleteMine is up over at my photo blog.
It's a perfect example of architecture. The weather vane and the icicles give it great character too!
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for someone to post a windmill.
Awesome, I love the icicles hanging off it. Mine will be country architecture also, nothing much around here. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in the country too so not much but farm buildings here either. But I love farm buildings best.....guess it's because any thing to do with horses including buildings is what interests me
ReplyDeleteNow that's what I'm talkin' about!
ReplyDeleteIt's all in the eye of the beholder. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteHey, grain bins are beautiful too! :)
