Wednesday Words: Emerson
I like Emerson..I also love the color of this petunia..it is a Misty Lilac Wave Petunia that has lost part of its Misty Lilac color, revealing the color it really wants to be. Thanks! Jen at Muddy Boot Dreams for Wednesday Words:)

Sunday Stills : Five Elements
The Sunday Stills Challenge this week was The Five Elements. I believe them to be Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Our neighbors had a very old house on their property, it was no longer inhabited and could not be safely remodeled or saved..so it was used as a "Control Burn" that taught many Fireman about fire and how fire behaves..for some young Fireman it was their first experience in a burning building.

Sunday Stills: Fences
The Sunday Stills Challenge this week was fences. We have a few of those around.
We have an old cedar split rail fence in our yard. Chance had company this week, our Grand-dog Miney was here all week while her family was on vacation without her. She and Chance are great friends, she is a Shetland Sheepdog or a Sheltie. She does not like posing for photographs as much as Chance, but we still had a wonderful two dog week!
The fence in one of the local cemeteries at Sunset on August 01, 2009. Have a great week everyone! :)
