Macro Monday: Frozen Crabapples

I took this photograph yesterday, at my oldest daughters house.  Her crabapple tree is full of fruit in various frozen, decaying, fermenting stages.  Check out more macros at Sunday Stills:)

  2. MMMMmmmm fermented fruit. Does this mean the critters eating this fruit will get a little tipsy.

  3. Kind of odd how something rotten can look so nice in a photo. The colors are pretty though.

  4. Neat!...I noticed your header photo doesn't quite fit...if you go to customize and hit edit html, look for the header wrapper and adjust the px size it will fit...easy peasy.

  8. It's me again! click on layout, then click on edit HTML...scroll down until you see

    #header-wrapper
    width:870px

Mine is set at 870px but just bump the number up a few px and save and then check your blog to see if the pic is completely in your header box.

  10. Thankx Colleen, I will give it a whirl!
South Dakota, A Crabapple is a small apple that grows on crabapple trees. Some people make Crabapple Jelly, some people make canned candied crabapples
    ( wonderful cinnamon flavor):)

  12. Great shot. I hate it that all this stuff is dead now. Our squirrels are having a ball taking my old apples off the tree and taking them to their tree. The get clumsy sometimes and they drop them on the way.
