The challenge this week for Sunday Stills was to take a photo in the dark. Chance and I ventured out. He was on lead..because a few weeks ago we had a skunk in our yard after dark.
This is Chance and the Bluestem that is on the east side of the house.
I got some of those solar lights and a scarecrow to scare off the skunk. Chance will remain on lead after dark until it snows and the skunks go into hibernation. We don’t need our Border Collie herding anymore skunks:)
LOL! What ya don't like skunk perfume? Dogs love it..:-)
ReplyDeleteNeat shots..
Lots of skunk action going on here too. If Chance didn't have white on him you wouldn't see him in the dark!!. :)
ReplyDeleteChance is so cute! I can only imagine him herding up a round of skunks. Yikes! : )
ReplyDeleteChance looks like he might see something around that corner:)
ReplyDeleteNice to see Chance- looks like he is taking his skunk-watching job quite seriously. The leash is a good idea.
ReplyDeleteChance is still looking for that varmint.....yes they sometimes take their herding instinct a little far....or maybe a little close.
ReplyDeleteOur blue heeler found a skunk a couple weeks ago. Good idea to leash him.
ReplyDeleteNice try with the challenge. Cool shots :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots. I love that the colors are so true. Very nice.
ReplyDeletePoor Chance, but I agree with your solution to the problem, as I don't care for skunk cologne on our doggies either!! Wonderful night-time shots -- I love how Chance's pose is so similar to his pose in your header photo. :)
ReplyDeleteYou got some excellent pics in the dark. I don't blame you with keeping Chance on a leash. Not every black and white animal is one you want to have close.
ReplyDeleteThe curiosity of the border collie is always up and running.
