The Sunday Stills Challenge this week was Rays of Sunshine.
This was sunset one evening last week.
This is some kind of Helianthus a flower in the Asteracea Family. The petals radiate from the center in a spoke like fashion and are called ray flowers. The ones in the center are called disk flowers.
So this flower being yellow and all has rays..rays of sunshine! Have a good week everyone:)
Lovely photos, Connie. I especially love the tree silhouettes in the sunset pic.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots..:-))
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, I really like the sunset.
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful shot, the sun almost made those trees shiloutte. Good job.
ReplyDeleteGod gives us some gorgeous gifts with landscapes and flowers, etc. but none seem more beautiful than the sunrises and sunsets that bookmark our days!
ReplyDeletePerfect! As always! Hope you have a great weekend!

The dish flowers remind me of the zinnia centers even though they are not the same.
