I LOVE Rudbeckia! I found a whole planting of it up at a northern California winery and I spent a while photographing it. My neighbor here in the desert has some, too! I'm going to have to plant some next fall...fall? Is that when you plant it?
Mama had some of these at their old house and I loved them. Great picture Connie!
Chery Ann, Here in Minnesota it just reseeds itself..a no fuss plant:)
*shudder* Remind me to never come back as a Rudbeckia in a future life. Spiders creep me out. eeek! The photo is awesome, though. Lovely!~Lisa
The spider is perfectly located on the rudbeckia :)
Loved this one, even though the daddy long legs makes me kinda itchy. ha
Ah, one of my favorites that's blooming out on the prairie now....the spider is an added benifit;)

Great photo! And the spider may well be protecting the rudbedkia from a much nastier critter.
Beautiful colors and the friend is ok.
