Macro Monday : Walking Stick

Walking Stick One

This is a Walking Stick, it was on my dining room screen one day..peeking in.  If he would have stayed a long time I would have named him “Tom” as in peeping tom, but after an hour or so he moved on.

Walking Stick Two

His little eye shows up so well!  Check out more macros here:)

  3. Very cool! I have a family of geckos who greet me every evening and eat the bugs on my kitchen window! I'll have to try and get a photo of them!

  4. I have not seen walking sticks in this area of the state, but our walking sticks in Southern Iowa were brown. They are hard to see when they hang out on vegetation.

  5. A creeping peeping Tom that I would say. I'll probably click the screen and let him pop off.. LOL Nice though..

  7. Great picture. I never seem to see them, as they blend in with so well with branches, etc.
I wonder if we have a lot of them around.

  12. Love the clarity of your eye through the lens!
As I believe, and we see here: "Do not shun the mundane, for all shine golden in the light" or in the eye of the beholder! Cool.
