Some people did paint this in town.
I photographed this in Duluth last fall.
Far Guy and I went scouting all the ramshackle places we could think of where graffiti would be present..with no luck so these photos will have to do. If I ever get to the big city I will have to take some photos of graffiti:)
You and Far Guy sound like me and John. We often go searching in the car for a particular photo theme and always seem to come up empty handed! It does give us a goal though!
ReplyDeleteNo graffiti means that your community is healthy. Obviously, no one is bored enough to deface property - that is a very good thing.
ReplyDeleteYes, having no graffiti si a good thing, but it is fun to discover neighbourhoods with murals. Nice loon.
ReplyDeleteNice job and lucky you for living in a town that doesn't have much graffiti.
ReplyDeleteThe last shot is definitely graffiti. :) We only have one wall painting in our little town, and it's pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting how we all tend to turn our eyes away from the blight of graffiti, instead of looking at them as potential photography subject.
ReplyDeleteI do like that second photo very much. ANd the loon mural is beautiful.

I'm with Lisa. I like the composition of the second one a lot. Good job on both of them!
ReplyDeleteThe second shot is fabulous. I love the grays and the message the artist was trying to convey.
ReplyDeleteBeen to Duluth many times...love it there but it is always cold and rainy when we go too. ha
ReplyDeleteThey have some train tracks there, down by the docks...I bet there is graffiti there ! ha
Nice that we don't have any graffiti. Sebeka has murals on city building walls.
ReplyDeleteWell done, its fun to explore..:-)
ReplyDeleteAt least it has a good message....not like some I've seen.
ReplyDeleteI love graffiti - and am often surprised to find it out in the midst of wilderness. Maybe you'll have better luck next time!
