Sunday Stills: The Color Blue

This weeks challenge was something blue..but not sky and no archives. I took all of these photos on Saturday March 26, 2011.

Blue Dishes

My husband likes blue..so we have lots of blue dishes.

Cutting board I have a glass cutting board..it shows up really blue.  I have lots of Loons in the kitchen..it is a Loony Bin. Mystery Item This is a mystery item for you to ponder..it is blue..my husband uses it since he had surgery to repair a cut tendon in his left hand.   What do you think it does?  I will leave the answer in the comments:)

    It is a button aid..it helps you to button up or unbutton buttons:)

    I adore blue dishes too. Too funny about the Looney Bin! I've used something similar, though a lot smaller, to thread needles.

    Nice blue dishes. I have a glass cutting boars with horses on it (go figure!). The button aid is interesting, first I've heard of that.

    Oooo, that blue and white pitcher is to DIE for...just gorgeous. I just renovated an old house that is across the street from us. My daughter is going to move back from Florida with her new husband in May and rent it. (Color me happy). I did the entire kitchen in blue and white and collected those antique blue and white dishes to furnish it with...it looks like an adorable little cottage kitchen now because of those dishes! LOVED your pitcher! (and PICTURE). LOL

    Adore the blue pitcher, now get hubby (with his big bandaged arm) to demo how to use the button helper! :) Hope he is doing better!

    I had never seen a button aid but have used a button hook to button my shoes in the 1930's -
    high-topped shoes with small black buttons.

    Great photos, love the texture on the blue board. Never would have guessed on the last one. I had a cut tendon & nerve 20 years ago. All they ever gave me was torture devices, 'er I mean OT aides. Not fun, hope your hubby heals up sooner then later.
