Sunday Stills: Portraits

The challenge this week was to take a portrait.  Ok.

I tried..and I mean tried to capture my Granddaughters cat. This is my best shot.

This morning I attempted a photo of Chance..sometimes he is just a pain, he yawns and blinks his eyes.

Yes we have snow here..it has spit snow all week..I think winter might be here.  Have a good week everyone:)

    We are going to East Central Illinois for Thanksgiving, and I hope it doesn't snow there either!!

  4. I really like Chance's facial markings! One of my dogs, he's really good at looking the other way and completely ignoring me, no matter how many funny noises I make trying to get him to looking my direction.

  5. That's a beautiful shot of Chance in your header, it almost tells a story...

    Great kitty shot, he/she looks rather put out, very cat-ish.

  10. I tried to get a good shot of a couple of the felines but they were starved for attention and wouldn't stay back far enough. Kit won't even look at the camera.....she'll just duck her head and leave.....sort of like I do.

  12. These are great portrait captures for the challenge. The first of the cat seems to have such an element of surprise and the lighting of Chance is amazing. : )

  13. poor chance... he's shy about his photo being taken! seriously, the yawning and eye blinks are his coping mechanism. I feel his pain. nothing worse than being in FRONT of the camera for me... sigh...

    but boy he sure is gorgeous.
