The Sunday Stills Challenge this week was to take a closer look.
Asters..not sure which one…possibly a Smooth Aster.
Take a look at this Geranium bud..this is what I love about macro photography..the ability to get such great detail!
Sedum and some kind of Hornet or Wasp.
Almost everything is brown here now.
Have a good week everyone:)
I love the sedum & wasp/hornet! Maybe I'm just attracted to creepy crawlies :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! Beautiful macros! I love the last shot and the soft pastel colors in the background.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful macro flowers.
ReplyDeleteCloser looks are always worth taking. I can't think of an exception. Of course long views are good too - but they are less neglected.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are marvelous. I really like the geranium and the detail.
ReplyDeleteI sure like the geranium buds, the detail is so clear!

ReplyDeleteLoved them all, wonderful macros. I really liked the color in the sedum shot. :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful macro photos! Absolutely love the last one. Thanks for your nice comment to my site ... and for bringing my attention to the tiger lily vs day lily. Learn something new every day. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAll four are great macros. I am a persistent shooter of the geranium as you know; I just like the color and shapes.

After all these years, I just learned recently that taking picures close up with all that detail is call macro photography. I love it. I'm graduating beyond my point and shoot in the next week or so. Can't decide between a Nikon or Canon... any advice readers? It probably doesn't matter?
