I knew you were coming, so I threw something on the table! You must be special because I got out the tin plates instead of the paper ones. We are pretty laid back and relaxed up here in the north woods. The table covering is a quilt my mother made for me several years ago especially for this table. You can click on this photograph to enlarge it..did you notice the reflection of the quilt in the knives? I thought it was pretty cool, it was not in the plan so it is an added bonus! Check out the other Robins and see what they have on their tables:)
what a beatiful quilt table cover! and yes, i did see the reflection in the knives. so cool.
ReplyDeleteHi Connie :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! I never thought of using a quilt, I have several around my place. Thanks for the neat idea!
Always, Carly
Tin plates and cobalt blue salt and pepper...how could it get any better? Oh wait...there is a quilt too. Love it all!!!
ReplyDeleteI love all the blue and love the quilt too, beautiful! If you've ever noticed most of my photos showing food are taken on paper plates or in disposable pans - how elase would I have time to work, cook, clean and blog! :-)
ReplyDeleteJohn wanted a camper's coffee pot like your plates, back around the time we first moved to Tucson. We ended up with the wrong blue with white splitches instead of dots. I love your salt and pepper shakers (my mom collected blue glass) and the reflections on the knives. Great photo!
ReplyDeleteI like tin plates! Nice set too. I get nervous around fine china. Something I can't possibly break or damage is great! Nice table.
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteYour table is pretty! I really like that quilt/tablecloth! I make quilts. I had one on my table of a chicken, as I collect chickens. Thanks for stopping by my place. Take Care!!

If I took a picture of my table right now it would have two games and a birthday gift on top. Looks like it's time to pick up the house.
ReplyDeletelooks so relaxing, i can almost smell the food about to fill these plates. what time is dinner?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
