Carly said "Hit me with your best shot! " I like to photograph nature..anything outside. Flowers and trees are my favorites. I also like to photograph Chance. He is a challenge sometimes! The biggest challenge for me is indoor photography..in the winter I am forced to spend some time indoors when I would rather be outdoors.

Sunday Stills : Architecture
"You have noticed that everything an Indian does is in a circle, and that is because the Power of the World always works in circles, and everything tries to be round..... The Sky is round, and I have heard that the earth is round like a ball, and so are all the stars. The wind, in its greatest power, whirls. Birds make their nest in circles, for theirs is the same religion as ours.... Even the seasons form a great circle in their changing, and always come back again to where they were. The life of a man is a circle from childhood to childhood, and so it is in everything where power moves." Black Elk
This weeks Challenge was Architecture, uffda..we live in the "boonies" we aren't real artsy fartsy out here. Even in town..nothing spoke to me. Then I drove in our yard one afternoon and admired the top of the grain bin. It will do! Check out Sunday Stills for more great captures:)

Sunday Stills : The Moon
Ed said "Shoot the Moon" for this Sunday Stills Challenge. The moon and I are frustrated friends. This week was cloudy and I had little opportunity to even see the moon much less photograph it...well there was that one time at 3AM but holy crap it was ten below zero. So these are from my archives:)

A-Z Photo Challenge: V is for Vietnam Veterans
I took these photographs last August at Bunker Hill in Minnesota. A little known place, where many come for the changing of the flags at this Vietnam Memorial. One man's dream, I featured it in a blog post back in August. So My V is for the Vietnam Veterans! Check out the other V's over at Menagerie:)

Sunday Stills: Reflections
I took this photograph last August when everything was green! I did not even realize it had a reflection until I was going through my photos and purging out some bad shots. There was a deer at this water hole, obviously I missed the deer but I did capture a reflection of the fence. Which makes it a perfect selection for Sunday Stills this week:)

Ellipsis Monday Photo Shoot #23: Winter Days
Carly said show me a winter day where you live. Well this is it, snow, snow and more snow. Cold too, although it was 27 degrees above zero today! We had two mornings last week that it was 20 degrees below zero..a bit chilly. Most of our days are gray and overcast..not real inspiring.. not wonderful for beautiful photographs either. Welcome to Minnesota in the winter:)

Sunday Stills : Go High or Go Low
Well the challenge of going high or going low, made me think for a bit. I finally decided on low and got my trusty friend Chance to help me out. The biggest part of this challenge was to capture him while he wasn't drooling. Since I bribed him with treats..drool was definitely our biggest problem. I am anxious to see how everyone else interpreted this challenge. Check them out at Sunday Stills:)
